For my final project, i collaborated with psychologists and medics of Algesiologikum, reseaching on how it could be possible to intervene with design on the complex topic of pain therapy.
As most of us occupy themselves sparsly with a feeling everyone of us will be affected with sooner or later, we took this as a starting point for our interaction. Visualizing and trying to scientifically explain the emotional world of a chronic pain patient, could help a patient by solving part of the mystery of his suffering and could maybe prevent others from chronic pain through knowledge. As we see this project as a first step in the right direction, we continued our collaboration and are currently collecting feedback from experts and patients.
